It's that time of the year again: For the sixth year running, The Centre for Fortean Zoology [CFZ] are off on an expedition - this year, to Karbadino Balkaria in southern Russia, in search of the fabled almasty or wildman.

That fake fish freaked me out! I know you said those little triops were fake, but I'll still keep an eye out in case someone get a snap of a 5 footer that they claim is there! Fishermen's tales eh! Those moths are beautiful, and they may only live 3 days, but at least they don't go short on a bit!
Very interesting information about that fake fish, I'd seen the footage before and been led to believe it was a chimaera.
It's a reasonable notion as chimeras are possible. The mule is one. If this is fake it must be a big dissapointment for horror fans who had envisaged a real Island of Doctor Moreau!
